一、时间状语从句
1.由when,while,as,after,before,till/until等来引导的时间状语从句Itwillbefourdaysbeforetheyeback.他们要过四天才能回来
2.名词短语引导的时间状语从句可以引导时间状语从句的名词短语有themoment,theminute,theinstant,eachtime,everytime,nexttime等Thechildrenranawayfromtheorchardthemomenttheysawtheguard.孩子们一见到看管人就从果园里跑开了
3.其他连词引导的时间状语从句immediately,instantly,directly,assoonas,nosooner...than...,hardly/barely/scarcely...when...等引导时间状语从句,表示“一……就……”nosooner...than...,hardly...when...引导的表示时间的句子,从句用一般过去时,主句用过去完成时当nosooner,hardly位于句首时,主句要用部分倒装Theyoungladyrushedintotheroomimmediatelysheheardthenoise.那位年轻女士一听到响声就冲进了房间Hardlyhadhereachedhomewhenitbegantorain.他刚到家,天就开始下雨了
二、让步状语从句
1.由though,although,as,evenif,eventhough,while引导的让步状语从句1although引导的让步状语从句不倒装2as引导让步状语从句时,从句的表语、状语或谓语中的实义动词需提前至句首,如果表语是带冠词的名词,冠词需要省略3though引导的让步状语从句可以倒装也可以不倒装,倒装时用法同as此外though还可用作副词,常置于句末,意为“可是,不过,然而”Althoughit’sraining,theyarestillworkinginthefield.虽然在下雨,但他们仍在地里干活Fastasyouread,youcan’tfinishthebooksosoon.纵然你读得快,你也不能这么快读完这本书

三、原因状语从句
1.常见的连接词because,since,as,seeingthat,nowthat,inthat,consideringthat,forthereasonthat等Nowthatyou’rehere,whynothaveadrink既然你来了,为什么不喝一杯呢?
2.because,as,for,since辨析1because语气最强,表示不知道的原因时用because,即说话人认为听话人不知道,因此because从句是全句最重要的部分,通常它被置于主句之后下列情况下只能使用because
①在回答why的问句时;
②在用于强调句型时;

四、结果状语从句

五、目的状语从句

2.sothat与inorderthat引导目的状语从句时,从句谓语动词常与can,could,may,might,should,would连用Theyclimbedhighersothattheycouldgetabetterviewofthecity.他们攀登得高一些,以便更好地欣赏城市的景色
3.目的状语从句与不定式的转换当主句和从句的主语一致时,目的状语从句可以与inorderto,soasto或表目的的不定式转换Ⅰ.用适当的连接词填空
