BesidesInJuly2000IgottheopportunitytogivealectureinEnglishinAsiaControlConferenceASCCwhichisoneofthetop-levelconferencesamongtheworldintheareaofcontrolandautomation.InmysenioryearImetProf.Xiao-SongLinavisitingprofessorofmathematicsfromUniversityofCalifornia-RiversideIlearnedgraphtheoryfromhimformyworkresearch.TheseexperiencesallrapidlyexpandedmyknowledgeofEnglishandtheunderstandingofwesternculture.
