二、课程性质、教学目标和任务The courseaimsto developstudentsbasicwriting skillsandlogicalthinking ability.By attendingrequired lectures,finishing necessaryhomeworkand extracurricularwriting,Students willbe trained,through languageskillsandrhetorical methods,to acquirebasicskills insentenceand paragraphwriting,and tolearnmore fixedstyleformatsuchas businesscorrespondence,notes,etc..By theend ofthis coursestudents aresupposed tobe ableto mastersome basicskills inwritingnarration anddescription,and towritesmoothlyabout200-300words ofEnglishessays withclear structure,fluent language,andthe properuse ofbasicEnglishsentencesand punctuation.
