一、课程教学目的和课程性质本课程是地理信息科学专业本科生的一门专业必修课通过对本门课程的学习,要求本专业的学生能够掌握一定数量的专业词汇,能够比较容易地读懂和专业有关的英文文献,并能够在此基础上用英文撰写本专业的科技小论文

五、考核要求、方式与成绩评定考核要求每章重要的专业词汇、短语和句子;阅读理解;科技论文写作考核形式考试成绩评定最终成绩由期末闭卷考试成绩(70%)和平时成绩(30%)构成
