一、课程性质基础英语写作课是为英语专业本科低学生开设的专业基础课、学位课、必修课,是学生在进行过英语语法、基础英语、英语阅读等基本语言学习和技能训练后进入英语能力培养的又一个重要环节本课程将以过程-体裁英语写作教学法原则为指导思想,系统地传授英语写作语言知识和英语写作文化传统规范;组织学生开展广泛的写作训练,完善学生的写作学习过程;使学生逐步提高英语写作水平和各项语言运用能力,使学生学会自主学习、合作学习,并在写作学习过程中提高阅读等其它语言技能
二、教学目标本课程支撑英语专业人才培养方案中的培养目标培养具有较强的学习研究能力、创新精神和实践能力,能够在教育、经贸、文化、外事、旅游、科研等部门从事教学、翻译、商贸、管理、研究工作的高素质专业化的复合型高级英语人才本课程支撑英语专业人才培养方案中的培养要求与特色第5(教育、商贸、翻译方向)和第6条(商贸、翻译方向)掌握英语语言等方面的理论知识,掌握英语听、说、读、写、译的基本技能具体来说,本课程的教学目标是使学生从句子写作和段落写作出发,学习便条、记叙文、说明文、议论文、摘要、读书报告等文体的写作,轻松应对专四和专八的写作考试,并为后续课程(尤其是英语学术论文写作)和毕业论文写作打下坚实的基础

五、考核方式及成绩评定标准
1、课程考核方式考查本课程采用形成性评估方式,无期末考试,注重对写作学习过程的考查主要采用小组阅读分享展示30%、个人写作文件夹50%、同辈评改10%、课堂表现10%等形式来考查学生是否达到教学大纲规定之要求Youwillbeassessedbyyourperformanceinthefollowingaspects.Groupproject30%:Presentation:Sharingassignedtopicsinthetextbooks.20minutesincludinglearningpointssampleanalysisandexercises.Individualwriting50%:Including5assignedwritingtasksnamelyparagraphwritingnotewritingsummarywritingcriticalreviewandargumentativewritingeachcontainingfirstdraftpeerfeedbackandfinalversion.Peerfeedbackgiving10%:Yourcommentsontheabove5writingtaskswrittenbyyourpartneraccordingtothePeerReviewSheetforeachtask.Classparticipation10%:Thisisassessedonthebasisofattendancepunctualityclassdiscussionandallkindsofclassperformance.
