一、限制性定语从句关系代词1who whomthat which所属关系whose关系代词的使用
①先行词指物时,用关系代词在从句中做主语或宾语which/that,He boughta coatyesterday costlittle.The carhe droveyesterday isa second-hand one.注关系代词中,充当宾语时可以省略
②先行词指人时,关系代词往往用在定语从句中,既可以做主语who/whom/that,who/that也可以做宾语,只能充当宾语The mangave aspeech onTV yesterdayis President.whomThis girlI metin thestreets yesterday.
③当表示所属关系时无论是指“某人的”还是“某物的”都使用whose.This isthe boyparents werekilled inthe earthquake.I livein aroom window is broken.I livein aroom thewindow ofis broken.Ilivein aroom,of thewindowisbroken.注意名词=名词+名词whose+the+of which/whom=of which/whom+the+⑵关系代词只能使用的几种情况that
